David Oliveira was born in 1981 in Lisbon, Portugal.
After finishing his studies at the Instituto Português de Fotografia he worked for one of the biggest newspapers "A Capital", an editorial company covering several magazines and newspapers and a photography agency.

Since 2009 he photographs in Berlin for several magazines and newspapers such as "Berliner Zeitung", "Die Tageszeitung, taz" and "Deutsche Guggenheim Magazin".

For him photography is an esthetic combination of information and feeling.
